Went from SLP to Kooks
Went from 1-3/4 SLP to 1-7/8 Race style SS Kooks. Put them on yesterday and they didnt go in like I thought they would but eventually everything was done. Also I put on a Hooker ORP compared to my gutted SLP cat/y-pipe. I didn't think it was going to change the sound that much. A lot depper and thumpier(if thats a word). Couldn't be any happier, the headers look pimp(the 275 extra for Stainless Steel is worth it, looks awesome) They tuck up so nice, sound great and can't wait to go WOT. I have to wait because I'm breaking in my SPEC Stage 4. Awesome clutch by the way. Also during the swap I changed out my torque arm for the G2 torque arm. All in all I'm very happy and would recomend these headers to anybody.

I broke in my Spec 3 exactly as Spec told me to, and its still chattery sometimes. Definitely going w/a Mcleod next time around, haven't heard a bad word about them. The more you abuse it, the smoother it is. I don't drive the **** out of my car all day every day tho.

How bad does your chatter??? I have a spec st2, with about 800 miles on it...and have had nothing but trouble!!! it chatters TERRIBLY!!! I've had the tranny out 9 times since and have replaced everything but the disc and PP to try to fix my low engagement and chattering.

damn, 800 miles? mine only really chatters bad when i don't give it enough gas in first gear. the clutch is more like an on/off switch, compared to the stock...which i always thought of as a dimmer.
enough throttle and this clutch doesn't chatter. its sometimes tricky finding just the right amount of throttle to where i don't like the rears up a little, especially in the rain. can't complain about its performance in the gripping department tho, it grabs like a sumbitch.

Yea, thats where mine chatters too. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've called Spec numerous times...they played dumb, and said they never heard of a stage 2 chattering??? I cant complain about it gripping though, it definitely grabs....even though after it gets hot my F'n trans wont go into gear that well.
