throttle body disassembly
I am taking it apart to polish and powdercoat. I have a couple questions about it though.
Everything is out, but the tb shaft and TPS seal(bearing).
Also wanted to see if anyone knows the best way to remove the tb colant lines(hard lines) as they are not being used anymore. Are they just pressed in?
What is the best/safest way to remove those two things? Search has not turned up anything useful JRP
Thanks in Advance
Chris

There is a pressed on ring that hold the shaft in so get the blade out and take a dead blow and tap it out and the ring will pop off. The tubes are pressed in by Gov. Arnold lol so bow up on it with some good grips and twist em out.

Nice........Shaft is out!! Now just to remove the tubes.
What about the bearings for the shafts. Do they just pull right out? Need to remove em to powdercoat/polish the TB.
Thanks
