Ordered Kooks 1 7/8" stepped to 2" headers, what Y-Pipe and cat back??
I have the stainless 1 7/8" tp 2" stepped headers, with weld on 3 1/2" collectors coming. Going in a 2000 Camaro, automatic. I know I will have to have 02's welded in the collectors in front, allready have the rear 02's tuned out. What kind of Y pipe and cat back are people using with this set up. I was thinking of a couple of different things..
Big 3 1/2 Y pipe (anyone make these in SS???) to a QTECH cutout/dump tube and then a 3 1/2" SS cat back (Stainless Works makes one)
True 3 1/2" dual SS exhaust with X pipe or H pipe and two mufflers, no cutouts
Dual 3 1/2" cutouts on headers with dump tubes, then traditional 3" Y pipe and catback
*no cats would be used in any of these applications obviously*
Any suggestions from people wh ohave these bigass headers?

The reason I asked was I ordered the same headers and called on three occasions for continuity. They they recomended the 3 1/2 in 3"out Y pipe to me.
Im building a LME pro 408 with tea 238cc AFR heads 244/250 635, 625 and a 300 shot. It should ship late this week. I thought it was strange to neck it down but the tech guy swears its the way to go. Speed INC did me right on the price by the way
