My friend and I removed the top and bottom bolt on the knuckle for the driver side. We put the header in from the top instead of the bottom on the driver side. It wouldnt go in on the bottom, and this is on Mac's. We spent a good 20 minutes from the bottom trying to get it to go, and it wouldnt. The passenger went in within 10 minutes. I dont have any pics, but one thing that concerned me afterwards is the knuckle is much closer to the header than it was with the stock manifold. Not just a inch, 3-4 inches or so. Its not ON the header, but its within 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch now. If that happens with yours dont worry. Just make sure its not on the header, otherwise get a pry bar and pry it away.
