Default Question about my QTP Y

i just recieverd my catted Y from QTP....i have a question...i cant figure out how it goes together... and am wondering is there a right and levft catalytic converter becuase both look identical and there is a clamp? of some sort thats on both that would mate into one exactly like it. the thing is they both have the same thing and the picture QTP has only has one? im so lost can someone help...ill post a pic in a bit

So...you're saying both of the cats have the flange on them. Only the passenger side cat should have the flange. The other side should be a slip-fit and have band clamps hold it together.

I just put mine together last week. If you look at the cats they have an arrow on them pointing which way they flow. That's how I figured out which one was for which side.

Once you figure that out it all makes sense.

Take your time and make sure you get the left cat positioned so it is right under the impression in the brace. That will give you the most ground clearance.

i got a totla of 3 flanges...2 on IDENTICAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER PIECES and one on the Y pipe so what the hell am i supposeda do with this other one? shouldnt it be 2 diff pieces like one is a slide on piece?!

Sounds like you got 2 passenger side cats...definatly give Barry a call tomorrow and he should get you straightened out, its excellent customer service.
