Default To coat or not too coat...

Just curious is the high temp coating on these headers really worth it? Should i pay the extra 125 bucks and get the coated or does it not really matter?

I had the JetHot Ceramic Coating on my Hooker LT's and it flaked off. The Header Collector's were rusted as well. I wasn't impressed and maybe there is a better coating out there.

I have Jet Hot LTs, they are from JH and coated, never had an issue and I abuse them all the time. As for sending a header in for coating, never done it.
