Default Oil Question

Somebody told me that I might want to consider switching to Mobil One Synthetic 15W-50 in the summer time. They think that it will better protect my engine with the warmer temps and all. I have run the 10W-30 Mobil One Synthetic year round in the car since I bought it with 39K miles....it now has a little over 94K on the clock. Should I just stick with the 10W-30??

Same here...I don't think going to 15 will help anything at all.

The owner's manual (for 2001 at least) says to use 5W30 OR 10W30. It SPECIFICALLY cautions about using any other grade.

If you look around, you are going to see if you go with mobil 1, they will recommend 0-40.
From all the oil threads here lately, you will see german castrol 0-30 is the "hot" topic.
