Default wow.....love my new sound!

had equal length shorties, stock y-pipe and borla catback on the car and it sounded pretty decent, but I felt like it was really restricting the car from better #'s.
so I changed it to jett hot coated hooker longtubes with a 3" x-pipe, right at the bottom of the x where it straightens out I put two bullett race mufflers with no turndowns or anything after it.

man the car sounds so great! gets looks and compliments everywhere it goes.and I can hear the cam a lot better also.due to a flywheel problem I cant yet go WOT with a load on the car but I already know that when i do its gunna sound hellacious. I highly reccommend this setup.
Ill try to get some video this weekend.

Has anyone had any clearance problems for Hooker or Pacesetter headers? I'm gonna get either or *stainless steel* with an ORY pipe with cutouts

Pacesetter redesigned their headers about 6 months ago, maybe more, and there are no clearance issues now. The only issue you may have is the ORY banging against the floorboard under the driver's seat on hard acceleration which can be fixed/reduced w/ a polyurethane driver's side motor mount or there are other methods of dealing with it such as an exhaust hanger under the driver's seat or wedging rubber b/w the y and the underside of the car.

With an ORY, what do they mean if it has EGR and AIR fittings and o2 sims? Will I need these to keep the SES off? I have visual inspection here, and I doubt I will pass, maybe I can bribe the person inspecting it with like 100 bucks.

EGR fittings are on the headers themselves. These are to send exhaust gas from one of the primaries to the EGR valve (at the front of the passenger side head) and then to the top front of the intake manifold. This helps w/ emissions. The AIR fittings simply allow air to be pumped from your AIR pump which is under the driver's headlight to the exhaust. This injects fresh air before the exhaust gets to the cats to help the cats before they fully warm up. The O2 sims are required w/ an ORY b/c you will not be running rear O2 sensors. The rear sensors tell the computer if the cats are working properly. Without the cats there is no need for these sensors. The sims trick the computer into thinking the cats are there and working fine. If you have EGR and AIR connections and O2 sims then you will not trip the SES light after the LT and ORY install.

i have hooker long tubes and ORY with a cutout.....also i have the Eibach Sportline springs so i do sometimes have clearance issues. the main thing is just the cutout hitting on things but other than that my car is very low, and i do not have too many problems with it.
