Default Why does my Magnaflow hang so low?

Hi guys. I just reciently bought a camaro not but a month ago and its has a Magnaflow cat-back on it. Its looks nice and all but it really seems to hang low and it looks to be off centered. Almost like one pipe sticks out farther than the other. I looked under the car really good to make sure it was all hooked up good and everything seems to be ok by what I could see. I just duno what the deal is. I took a look at ls1sounds.com again and went to the pictures and all of them seem to be tucked up really nice to the rear bumper. I'm just hoping to get this problem fixed really fast. So what do you guys think it is? Thanks for any responses.

Check the rubber hangers. If there ok take it to a exhaust shop.

if it was installed with the included hardware i am not surprised. those pieces are crap. get yourself some wide band clamps and better fitting rubber hangars and you'll be much more satisfied with it.

Diolar Magnum your right, they look like junk.

Does anyone else have this problem? Also where can I find wide band clamps and a set of rubber hangers?

I recently got magnaflow cat back. And low hanging (banging).
i recently had a small hole were the pass. side tip is welded to the hanger. BUt it was due to install i forgot to put the stock hanger peice on I pipe.
But they are under warranty so i am getting a new one. And i threw out factory exhaust so mount is gone. But I think theres one in my toolbox at work. I jest havent had time.

Mine hangs perfectly. It is probably due to the install.

yeah at this point if you cant fab up your own alternate hangers I would just take it to a shop. took me a week to get my magnaflow sorted out to where I wanted it to be. even now my one rubber hanger rubs up against my gas tank.

I hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction.
