just unplug and unbolt.You will need some block-off plates for the holes left behind on your exhaust and intake manifold. you can buy these at www.ls1speed.com However if you want the Service Engine Soon light to come off you have to delete the codes with tuning software like LS1edit etc. or you can send your ECM to a company like TexasSpeed (one of our sponsors) and they will delete the codes for about 50 dlls.

the other day i took all that stuff off, when i took off the AIR pump hoseing, theres a spliter on the back side of the engine, connected to that was a small hard plastic vaccum hose, no longer than an inch, maybe an inch and a half, i left that just hanging, does that come off too or does it not matter
