SLP Lid Question
Currently I have a stock lid assembly with a K&N filter. I'm looking to buy an SLP lid, but I have a question concerning the combatability with the K&N filter. Specifically, will I need to buy a new gasket to make a good seal with the K&N filter?
Thanks!
Thanks!

WTF are you guys all talking about? My lid has never rubbed the hood. And it is actually made out of the best quality plastic of all the lids, the same stuff the OEM lids are made out of (whatever that is), which cracks far less than other types of lids. Just my .02.

The SLP Lid itself i believe will come w/ the gasket for the filter, so shouldnt need to worry much
also SLP is the proven performer and fitment is great if you do it correctly...the front lip is TUCKED, never had issues with mine, or 4 of my other buddies...they got it cuz i recommended it as well, one tried the Motorspprts one, didnt work out to well.

I don't know why som many people hate slp. the only bad thing i've ever experienced with them is their headers hanging too low. I forgot if it was hot rod magazine or gm high tech who tested all the lids and the all performed almost identically at the track and the slp lid was made of the best material

My SLP lid fits fine. People have always bashed SLP around here.... except the lid...
It's made of the same high quality plastic that matches everything else in the car and looks great. Just don't get their bellows IMO.

Sounds like your gonna purchase the FlowPac correct?
The SLP CAI, is mounted on the front of the radiator(? i dont remember anymore its been a while?), and takes in air deflected up from the bumper guard...sending it into the air box. It is miuch like the SSRA, or FTRA, but without the extension that goes all the way to the front bumper. It's just as good, the SSRA and FTRA are a bit more direct it seems. I think feel that it is worth it, i bought my flowpac based on research.
