Question unplug the EGR?

whatssup guys. can i just unplug the EGR instead of removing the system and still get the same results? What kind of results can i expect performance wise from removing the EGR or unpluging it? oh yeah almost forgot, she's stock right now other than the FRA mod and the air pump is fried (I'm gonna junk that anyway). in the near furture gonna do frenco mod, put on a lid, get 160* thermastat w/fan switch (just for the track), timing tricker, flowmaster 40 series w/cut out in I-pipe. Any help or suggestions would be great thanks.

you won't see any gains. Removing the EGR just cleans up the engine bay.

unless your doing an ls6 intake swap dont bother ****** with the EGR. there is no performance gain. its to clean up the engine bay.

I took off all the EGR stuff about 3 years ago when I went to an LS6 intake. You will through a SES light which you can tape over or when you get tuned with LS1 edit have the EGR deleted like I did. I just removed my complete AIR system yesterday and am throwing three different codes I think 412 410 and 1133. I have already deleted them a couple of times but need edit to make it permanent.
