Default Problem after header install

Just installed a set of Pacesetter LT's on my 98 Z. After the install the car will not idle, I am having trouble getting it to start the temp gauge no longer works, and the car has a misfire in 3rd gear at about 4000 up. When it does start the car will go from 900 rpm and drop down to 500 rpm. It will never become stable. Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

Did you forget to plug in the Coolant Temp Sensor? (Left side header, front most plug)

sounds like the temp sensor might be broken, or you pulled a wire.

All of what your describing i have seen when my sensor was unplugged, or other have reported with the sensor cracked.

The idle problem could be the o2's, make sure the fronts are plugged in correctly. Give it light gas and see if it will try to idle after a brief warm up. The misfire is due to the rich condition from the headers. Make sure your rear o2 sims or program delete is properly setup and get a few miles on the car so it can relearn the new settings. Your car could use a mild tune to get the full potential out of your mods and solve your mixture issues...
Good luck

P0302 - cyl 2 miss-fire

P0302 - " " ( dont know why it is throwing this code twice)

Make sure all your plugs are in and all the wires firmly pressed on. They need to click twice on the coil packs.

Did you reset the computer after you changed the sensor?
