Default Mass Air?

Can someone explain the difference between these two? It seems to me that they are both going to flow the same, so why would the Granatelli cost more, just the name?

Granatelli
SLP

Also, what's the difference between the above Granatelli and this one? Granatelli Z06

They do have one thing in common, they are a waste of money.

I think the stock maf is good up to about 500hp or so.

Messing with the maf is taboo in these parts.

My recommendation is to descreen it if you have a manual, otherwise leave it alone. Too many people have had bad things happen when messing with it. Unless you KNOW what you are doing, don't.

Are the MAF ends a waste of money as well?

Is there a "how to" to do this? I looked on LS1howto.com but didn't see it. I do have a manual.
