pacesetter ory....flow well?
I just picked up a pacesetter ory to complete my header install and after inspecting it inside and out it looks like the drivers side pipe flows really crappy...I realize the flattened out parts wont kill power but the merge is terrible, I had an AAP ory on my 98 T/A and he used a flowmaster y collector and it flowed real nice....the pacesetter looks like it narrows down on the drivers side merge to almost 2" (crude estimate)....but doesnt look like it flows well at all....I just wanted some feedback on peoples experience with it.
Thanks....
Thanks....

It flows well enough for what you pay. The best thing that you could do since you already have the y-pipe is to purchase a Flowmaster merge collector and have it fabricated in.

venom is one of the resident exhaust nuts...he went through enough setups with his Z to know a lil bit
with that said, i totally agree with the flowmaster merge fab-in, as long as you get a competent shop to do it. cheap fix for an otherwise decent y-pipe.
for what its worth, my Kooks ory has that iffy merge too, but my car does just fine
