Default Is The X-Pipe Worth it?

I got rid of my slp loud mouth due to no back pressure. Now I want to get the Texas Speed X-Pipe. They said it sounds great. Has anyone else heard it?

You NEVER want backpressure. Do a search. There is TONS of info on "true dual" exhausts. Also check out www.ls1sounds.com. They have lots of sound/video clips. What headers/y-pipe do you have, if stock will you be upgrading?

They do sound great, and make more power than Y-pipes.

So lets get this straight. You didnt have enough backpressure so you are switching from a single 3 inch to a dual 3 inch setup.

The back pressure thing is a myth. 3" duals will have less back pressure, will perform better, and will sound much better than a loud mouth.

Do a search both on the X-pipe (true duals) and on backpressure. People confuse backpressure with exhaust gas velocity. Backpressure is never a good thing.
