LPE Throttle Body

Got my ported and polished throttlebody today. Pretty good I think and not too bad of a price!

Is this a better deal/product than taking the stock unit and having it done to it...a local shop charges $80 an hour for such work...???

EDIT: Did a google search on this item, does anyone know why it wouldn't be legal for emissions in CA? Would they even be able to tell? I can't imagine such a minor mod would make the car fail the sniffer?

Well put the throttlebody on. Took a few trips to get it to learn the idle, but it got there. It seems more responsive, but who knows. I also just had Royal Purple put in the trans and rearend, so Im going to drive it for a week and then dyno it. Then Ill get some facts.
