Default cats or resonator?

is there anything as effective of more effective at quieting down the exhaust as cats?? the catted y pipes are so much money and thats the only reason i wanted one was to keep db's down. no emissions here in rainy fla.

What kind of exhaust setup do you have on your car right now? Or are wanting?

o sorry corsa premium will be here in day or so then headers are going to be pacesetter race headers and either their y or the tsp y and ill swap in a flowmaster merge on either one. i remember on my buddys 01 with dynatech race headers and the corsa it was insanely loud--i drive the car with the windows up too much for that. i have the qtp cutout if i wanna annoy people.

The corsa is a pretty loud system from the clips that I have heard. If you dont want anything loud just go with the cats. TSP has some very good deals on their y pipes. Also I dont think that the corsa sounds good with an ory, but I could be wrong. My vote goes towards TSP's catted y pipe.

Well you could try the off-road y-pipe, then if it's too loud get some cheap high flow cats, either used or from ebay and have them welded in. You could also try having a bullet muffler or something welded in. I would see how it is with the ory and corsa first though before you worry about it. You might love how it sounds.

I Have Corsa Exhaust On My 02 Ram Air With An Off Road Pipe And Stock Manafolds. It Was Way Too Loud And Raspy, So I Put A Bullet Muffler On The I-pipe To Quiet It Down. The Sound Is Still Loud But Most Of The Rasp Is Gone. My Vote If I Had To Do It Again Would Get High Flow Cats. I Am Sure With Headers It Would Be Even Louder. Hope This Helps.
