Default Battery relocation and alternater feedback

The car is a 93 rx7 with 2002 LS6/T56. I had to relocate the battery for obvious reasons. I purchased a flaming river kill switch but it doesnt provide the conections to kill the alternator. So when i push the off switch the car keeps running. Im assuming alternator feedback is keeping the car running. My question to you is can i simply put a diode on one of the wires coming off of the alternator or do i need to get a pair of relays to get it to work corectly.

I got booted from my local 1/8th mile track for running 8.1 @ 89 MPH. They told me dont come back till i get a drive shaft loop and a kill switch. That was my second time at the track ever, i think the car still has a lot in her. I just recently passed california emmisions, so the engine is completly stock.

Do a search in the drag racing section. There are plenty of wirng diagrams there. Basically you will need to run the wire on the back of the alt. to the bat side of the kill switch and then from the other side back to the alt.
