Question Street Pro Cutouts Orientation

I've got dual Street Pro electrric cutouts between my collectors and y-pipe and I've recently noticed that the wiring to the motor on my driver's side cutout has gotten a little scuffed from low clearance around this town's lovely streets Has anyone specifically with the Street Pro cutouts been able to mount them with the wire side up so it's safe from being thrashed up? There doesn't appear to be much frame clearance to allow them to be oriented wires up and their website photos show one mounted in the intermediate pipe, not off the collectors, etc. Thanks for any help.
