Default HeLp PLEASEEE!!!

ok. i'm going to order a set of pacesetters ,but cant decide witch y-pipe to go with . i thought i wanted a catted y but talked with a guy at Speed inc. and he said $300 for a custom y pipe and labor and $320 for the cats also $275 labor for the headers. thats kinda exspensive for me right now, but i saw the off road y pipe is only $225 for the pipe and the o2 sims and extentions. now thats more like it.I also have slp loudmouth and i hear vit dosent sound to good without cats. So if anyone has either one of these est ups it would be excellent if i could get your thoughts.

99% of people with the loudmouth and no cats put a dynomax "bullet" muffler in place of the resonator that comes in the loudmouth. Without doing that....you get alot of "rasp" as its referred to as.

300 for a custom y pipe and 320 for cats? you don't need to buy cats for a catted y pipe..they come with it..and I think catted y pipes go for 400 roughly.

Off road Y is the way to go. I had Speed Inc. install my Mac's with ORY and had their "basic tune" (ls1edit) for emissions compliance. The prices you posted are very good IMO. I would recommend the shop to anyone and have been doing business with them since 2001.
