Default header install help quick.....!

installed a set of preowned, new hooker headers on my brother's 02 z. they have the air tube for the smog put fittings, that are 180degrees off.( maybe for 98-99 cars? ) how do you get around this without removing the A.I.R. system? cut the tubes, turn them, and use some hose ? heat and bend them? any ideas guys? the car's in the air waiting on input, and all is appreciated. Thanks a ton.!!!!!

The only thing I can think of is to buy some 98/99 Air tubes.Or to cut and reweld the header tubes.I wouldnt cut them and use rubber to hook back together, the headers get way too hot.

The passenger side hedder right? Yea, I got shipped the the wrong one (nothing would line up) as well. Instead of taking the hedder back off I just ended up capping the holes and removing the ****. Thats what i did. Got luck.

yeah, they're stainless, ceramic coated. i was talking about the a.i.r. tube, but that looks to be steel, not aluminum as i thought. we're gonna see what we can finagle, maybe turn the tubes around, and run some more of the big rubber hose that's on the other end of the tube to extend it... more input is appreciated still, thanks guys.

I cut my metal air line and then stuck some hose over it and slipped the other end in the big air hose in the back, it appears there for inspection but it is blocked off even though it doesnt look like it.
