Are the noise levels tolerable with this set up? or it assaultive to everyone around? ( loud is ok, but not obnoxious )

Is it loud? Way f'n loud, especially if you're using bullet mufflers. Dumped duals make it seem louder than it really is though. While it's really loud in the car (not unbearable), it's not as loud as it would seem outside the car. I raise hell in my car and haven't gotten anything but compliments from people and cops alike. Just a few cops giving me dirty looks, but never been pulled over for it.

Sure, they're loud, but they sound SO GOOD!
I've been daily driving mine since January, and have gotten nothing but complements. Also, I'm not deaf yet.
As long as you're not getting in it all the time, you'll be alright.
FWIW, I'm getting my Sweet Thunders this week, probably tomorrow, since everyone says that they sound better than the bullets. From what I've heard, you might want to order them WITH the ST's. I'll post some videos of mine before and after.
Here's a few threads with videos of my car, both inside and outside the car. Mods are in sig.

I got SLP LTs with a 3inch Xpipe and Magnaflow 4x9's. At idle it sounds nice has a deep rumble to it but not to loud. At WOT people will hear you, its not quiet but not hugely loud. But i enjoy loud thats why im thinking of switching from these to Dynomax Bullets or Sweet Thunder Mufflers either one of the two.
