Default temp gauge sensor bung

just ordered phantom gauges, turns out mechanical were sent instead, later on finding out theres more pros than cons...anyway i heard of people tapping into the radiator hoses, kinda like using a stock ps pump cooler idea....i know thats kinda hard to follow, im tired tho its late....anyone know how to make this work??

I tapped my H2O gauge (electric....but same principle) into the top of the water pump next to the throttle body. Accurate as hell.

You don't want to tap into your radiator hoses. I don't understand why people would do that?

You can either do what Schantin did, or tap into the back of the passenger cylinder head. Your using a mechanical gauge, but as previously stated, it's the same concept.

You can also pull a plug that is above the starter in the block. You need to buy an M16x1.5 plug/adapter though. You also need to drain the coolant if you go this route.
