Default PCV questions

I understamd a catch can is necessary after a lt header install. but can i run without one for a little bit. if i can how long before i hurt the car.

Its not necessary but not a bad idea. You wont hurt anything you will just have to use seafoam more often. More important is to do the air restrictor mod if you've kept your air system. Some cars puke more than others through the PCV valve. My car looses a lot less than my buddies trans am does. My F150 looses more than both put together! I've almost filled half my filter bowl in a month of driving!
