Default Rounded torx bolt in TB blade

I was trying to take my TB apart so I could do the !front shaft .... and one of the Torx bolts is already rounded/stripped. What size drill bit should I use to drill it out, and does anyone know the thread patter/size to retap it off the top of their heads?

TIA

Consider using a Dremel w/ cutoff blade
to turn it into a slotted head. Done that
before, to remove "tamper-proof" Torx.
Be sure the back threads aren't staked.

Start with the smallest drill bit possible. You can drill straight through the center of the bolt and the threads just fall out. I've done it many times.

Also I would consider using some thread sealant when you put the scews back into the shaft.....

Alrighty ... I'll probly just close it back up w/ the loctite and worry about getting the other screw out and cutting the shaft another time. Thanks for the help guys

That happens to me often. Get a little bigger star bit and tap it in there with a hammer its hard to do but it will work. Had to do that probly 4 times
