Default Bigger Cats Fit?

I can answer this question if I put my car on a lift, but I'd rather save the hassle. I realize that the Stock cats are two different sizes. What I am going to be doing is installing Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Headers with Y-Pipe and purchase of cats. If I get two 3" cats, will one of them not fit?? Would I have to get one big and one small cat??

Depends on where you intend to put the cat(s)
and the Y-pipe diameter. The stock cats have
nothing to do with LT headers, call them a loss.
I see very few 2.5" Y pipes used with LTs though
I think Stainless Works makes one? In general it's
3" collectors, 3" Y, 3" I and put the cats wherever
you have a surplus of ground - sheet metal
clearance. Which is going to narrow it down pretty
hard.

Two cats in the Y will be better than one in the I.
