Default Y-pipe ?

00 A4 Z28
I have a QTP electric cutout, I'am looking for my car to gain some power and sound. I have stock manifolds & catback. Wondering Which y-pipe to replace the "flat" stock one. Hopefully in about a year to get kooks longtubes.

Just wondering anyones opinions on going with a 2.5 or 3 inch y-pipe, or a specific brand thanks.

You won't gain much, if any power with a new y-pipe. You'll need a different y-pipe when you get the kooks anyways. Just save your money for the kooks.
