Installed Hooker catback....
Recently installed a 408 in the T/A, along with long tubes, 3" ORY, and kept the Loudmouth I already had. Wow, way too loud. Sounded horrible IMHO! So I hopped online, found the Hooker catback for $275... had it in two days. I must say, this exhaust sounds AWESOME! No drone at all that I have found. At 65-70 on the highway, it is quieter than the Loudmouth was on a completely stock motor. Plus when you lay into it... it roars! Just wanted to post my experience in case any of you want a nice quiet system that still sounds good, doesn't cost an arm & leg, and flows great!

I love my hooker
Seriously, its a nice exhaust. rumbles nice at idle, but isnt TOO loud. Sounds great in city/hwy driving, then when you get on it, it screams. You got it for a great price too.
Here's my only sound clip of it: http://www.mattiroc.com/tapicssmall/100_1859.MOV
mac's w/ 3" collectors instead of 2.5", worked on inside, custom 3" y pipe no cats w/ flowmaster collector before the i pipe, hooker cb

I'll get a video online in the next couple of days. Been meaning to do that anyway since I got it tuned last week. I can't wait for this rainy spell to get over with so I can get the car out and drive some more before snow flies. It loves this cool crisp air!

I liked mine too. When I brought the car home with my 408 my wife said you spent all that money for that!! Shouldn't it sound mean. So I took it off and put a 4" bullet right off the y-pipe. She said that was much better, so now I drive around with my car loud as **** so my 408 can sound like a 408 should according to my wife. What a problem to have. Your wife wanting your car louder. LOL. Your right it was nice and quiet and I did get to sneek up on a few vettes before I took it off. Good luck with 408 and enjoy.

Heh... heh... I was listening to it all bored and such untill then end when you revved it up high... ... that about explains it. Hooker sounds good but a lil too raw for me at idle... I'm goin the pricey rout of true duals but it should pay off after the H/C/I install and sound great untill then.
