For a Camaro, 2OTL all the way (I had several exhausts over the years and not only did 2OTL sound the best (deep, tuned and loud only you want it to be loud), it also outflowed all the others (I'd say it can even flow as well as TD's if you can mate it up to a great Y-pipe). It's on my old car and 2OTL flowed 470rwhp vs. 480rwhp with the dual cutouts open.
For a TA, get the D/D due to the empty rear bumper niche you'll have with the 2OTL (for aesthetic reasons). D/D is quiter at idle than the 2OTL, but is aggressive enough at WOT and flows very well also.

I didnt like the dual/dual when I had it on my car. It was way to quite & didnt have a good sound to it. I also was listening to them on ls1sounds & once I got one I was highly dissapointed. Have you considered a Hooker cat back? I love the way my hooker sounds.

Thats the problem with sounds on the net. They dont sound what they do when you are behind the car in real life. The D/D sounds great on net. I have not had a chance to hear very many exhaust on T/A. I have had dynomax and borla now flowmaster. Thats the three I have had a chance to hear. Just dont want to waste money. I just spent money on heads/cam intake, TB, cutout. So I dont have much funds atm. Would love to try something louder, but with a good sound. So the Hooker has done you good?

I've had both the dual/dual and the 2OTL on the same car with the same motor setup at different times. 2OTL sounds far better.
Like SouthFL.02.SS said (hey, I remember telling him to get the 2OTL years ago! ), the 2OTL looks poor on the trans ams, I know because I got tired of looking at it on my WS6. It looks good on Camaros or Formulas though. That was why I tried the dual/dual next, but IMO the 2OTL had a much better sound/pitch/note/volume under all types of driving (idle, cruise, WOT).
Problem is, I beleive SLP stopped selling the 2OTL system new. So you'd have to look for one used.

I have a 2OTL catback waiting to go on my new car, it just needs an over-axle and intermediate pipe (and I'm poor right now, ) I really want to hear (OTHER than on LS1sounds) what it sounds like with a full exhaust!

I have the factory SLP d/d and Stainless Works headers and a rt/catted y. I get compliments on how my car sounds all the time. It sounds muscle but is not *** loud. I was complimented from a driver from another club on how good it sounds because it isnt just a loud low toned thunder. Its probabley the quietest of the catbacks.

Here's the SLP D/D on my FMS 414, no cats, through SLP D/D, big cam:

For comparsion on my car, this is with the cutout open:

Makes for a great sleeper, nice exhaust note when through the muffler in and out of car.

I to am going with the D/D (maybe the 2OTL) just to quit things down a weeee bit. The D/D is pretty quite on a stock catted Y setup, but it's plenty loud with LT's and ORY for me, I'm not into abnoxiously loud anyway though, after while it's just a bit irritating. The Hooker sounds real nice to and is only a bit louder than the D/D.

I have the 2OTL system with stock manifolds/cats and that useless SLP y pipe. I love everything about it (especially the sound) except the tailpipes. If they were tucked up more and larger near the end, I would even love them.
