For ground I used the black wire on the cig lighter, for power I extended the red wire and connected it to the radio fuse. You can also use the pink wire behind the traction control switch. Make sure you use a "switched" power source, so when the key is off the light on the cutout switch will not draw power - my switch light goes off along with the radio when I open the door.

On my car (no TCS), I found an empty fuse spot in the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. It was only on when the ignition was on, so I used it. It was real easy to run the wire up there.
For the groud I just used one of the screws that holds the console down. My switch is in the ash tray.
