"3951" is the NGK stock number for the TR55 V-power. Reason I posted it is sometimes parts stores look up the NGK plugs for our cars and say they can't find them - sorry for the confusion.

I've had issues like that too. Always best to give 'em that stock number (3951), makes things go a lot faster.

How good are the Zex Powertune spark plugs? Just saw an ad on GMHTP. They supposedly have 3 pts to make a spark. Is this good bad or otherwise?

All the sets I've bought were gapped .059" from NGK. I usually close 'em up to .055", it works well for me.

If you can afford it, get the TR55 IX plugs with thin Iridium wires...

Why use those..your plugs tell you what is going on inside your engine..I like to look at mine regularly..I change mine every 8,000-10,000 miles..TR55's at a $1.68 a piece you might as well do it...I can change mine in 25-30 minutes..gap them at .055..
