new custom catback is on...(PICS no 56K)
My friend works at an exhaust shop so he spent 8hrs with a small lunch break making this custom catback for me. It sounds AMAZING! Much cleaner, smoother and louder than I thought it would. There were 5 diehard mustang guys that showed up right before I started it up and they LOVE the way my car sounds, I think that says it all.
I don't like how most catbacks look on Camaros w/ the bigass muffler showing and the "cowboy tips" so I wanted it all tucked...u cannot see ANYTHING from behind the car. He did an awsome job.
Car it went into 01 SS 228 cam, stage 1 LS6 heads, Kooks LT's w/ highflow cats

That is exactly what I want (only in non polished 304 stainless). I love the way the whole thing tucks up out of sight, NO BLING ALL ZING!! My girlfriend actually wants me to get the factory body kit rear valance to cover the shiny SLP TOTL muffler (says it looks like "it's *** is showing" - LOL). I'd rather do something like this, ultra clean and stealth.

Well yeah, it was gettin pretty hot. A few times I helped him put the exhaust back up after welding it got pretty warm in my hand.
I used 3" mandrel bent w/ 3 bullet mufflers...1 18" and 2 12".
I need to get a sound clip so u guys can hear it. I just have to get ahold of someone w/ a vid cam.
yes I'm running Kooks catted Y w/ Kooks 1 3/4" LT's. I LOVE the way it sounds, the only thing I don't care for too much is the resonance inside which I'm gonna lay some Dynomat down in the back to take care of that.
2000RedZ, are u a member of wichitaracing.com? If ur not go register and look around...I use the same screen name. The track has been open every sunday it's been 55 or hotter, I went last sunday and it might be open this sunday. 5 to watch and 10 to run 12-5...6ish.
