Default Need Information on Edelbrock Headers

I've got a set of Edelbrock shorty headers that came off of my car. They were on it when I bought it, but only had been ran about 400 miles. I don't have any information on them and was going to sell them to a guy that I work with, but he's not sure about putting them on then feeling like he messed up by not going with long tubes instead.

I tried to search for these, but didn't really come up with anything that was very helpful. I was wondering what would be expected gains on his car as well as a fair price. He has a Flowmaster, lid, bellow, and K&N with an A4, so it's pretty much a stock setup. I recommended for him to wait on long tubes until he was ready to do a heads/cam swap next winter because of the long tubes being harder to install.

Any suggestions or information?

I'm not sure how much shorty's usually cost, but I do know that I've never heard of anyone getting anymore that about 5hp out of shorty's. Unless you live in Cali, with their emissions laws, it doesn't really make any sense to run with shorty's.

Ease of installation was a big question that he had, but I just took them off with the motor out of the car, didn't put them on. Was looking for sound as much as power.

Thanks for the links but those are all to long tubes, I'm wondering about shorties.
