Hooker areo vs magnaflow stock replacement
I tried to listen to a few different clips off of ls1sounds.com but couldnt make up my mind. They where kinda bad clips. I plan on replacing my factory SS muffler on my 99 camaro. I want a muffler that has a bit of a bite to it but not overly loud. Loud is fine to an extent. It is my D/D I figured since everything is stock on my car i dont have a whole lot to worry about. In your opinions, Which is the better bang for your $. Which is louder? Which sounds better? ect... I did do a search and read all of them. Just want a bit more info.
Thanks
Jeff

I have LT's, ORY and Magnaflow catback. I just switched from a Hooker and I love the sound much more with the Magnaflow. As for power I really can't tell if there was any difference.

i have an aeroflow on my otherwise stock exhaust system, and it sounds pretty nice. at idle it's just a little bit louder than stock, but once you hit around 2500 it literally explodes and sounds really sick. so my vote definately goes for the hooker.

I purchased a borla pro xs in the past and it was quieter than my factory muffler on my trans am with 50xxx miles. I just want something with some bite but not annoying. I heard about the hooker cat back being about as quiet as the factory? Is that the same with the hooker areo muffler? Just want to make the right decision once.
Thanks
