I'm guessing you want to know how to fix that, right? Well get the car tuned, this is a common problem with longtubes. having a tune done will help you a lot, a good tuner can get power out that you didnt know you had in addition to turning or AIR, skipshift, rearO2 sensors, shiftpoints, revlimiter....etc. I only put on a y-pipe and loudmouth and I was running really rich. I picked up 23hp and 30ftlb of torque from my tune. Well worth the money. I used EFI live, but hptuners and ls1edit are just as good.

I'm guessing this rich condition is bringing the MPG down the toilet..
The more I read about LT's.. the more I think I will run a stock manifold on my ls1 swapped car.
Less headaches, better MPG and save me $500 from buying the dang things.
Sure I love the sound of them and the extra 25hp would be nice but I am unwilling to get a tune on my car, not gonna happen, I want the car to run as smooth as a stock ls1 does.
