Air lid installation - how to get the iat sensor out of the old resonator?

Default Air lid installation quick help needed

How the hell do you get the iat sensor out of the old resonator. that grommet looks like one piece so i dont want to screw anything up. My cars sitting outside with the hood open and my tools out any quick help is appreciated thanks.

i just pulled the grommett holding it out with pliers.

Should just pull up on the tab and slide out of the lid neck.

Yeah im an idiot. everythings installed fine. I just didnt want to start pulling hard on a piece until i was sure thats how you get it out because i always break something.

Use a blowdryer to heat up the rubber it will come right out when it gets hot.
