Default ls1 plugs

are the ac delco plugs worth getting? I'm willing to spend the extra money if they are worth it, also they are pre gapped at .40 compared to ngk .55 will there be a noticiable difference??

Save some $$ and go with TR55's. Most on this board use them and they work great.

I have been through 3 sets of tr55's and am on my first set of AC iridiums and I have to say I am happier with the Iridiums. My cars seems to idle better with them over the tr55's, but that is just my "opinion" and you know what they say about opinions.

People have posted some crap about tr-55's lately. I've got them in my car, and it idles like crap sometimes, but that may not be the problem.

I know they are proven, but there was one thead with a bunch of people at the same time posting up their problems with them, almost like NGK had a bad run or something? Probably just operator error though.

+1 for the AC Iridiums. I have them, only because my crazy grandfather told the guys at NAPA "Give me whatever they call for." and they sold him $95 AC's lol

No complaints, they work great. I swear by iridiums, my turbo Scion xB ran rich as hell when I was tuning it... It fouled coppers, constantly. I put in a set of Denso Iridiums and I have never ever fouled one since.

ac delco iridiums are what i bought and put in my car. they seem to be alright. as far as whats better i dont really know. just as long as the spark plug company doesnt come out with some rediculious gimmick[split fire] about there plugs i dont think there a whole lot of difference.

NGKs are not wotth it unless you use NOS, for NA applications, AC Delcos are the way to go. Can get these plugs for 30-40bucks for a whole set.
