Default LS6 PCV Conversion Question

This might sound like a dumb question but my LS6 PCV conversion has gone really smooth so far, but is there a trick to getting the black rubber knock sensor covers back into the valley cover. I can push them in but then they want to pop back out. Almost like there is pressure pushing them back out. This is the pieces I'm talking about:

The 2 black plugs.

Thanks
Bryan

I have stock heads right now. That pic is of someone else's motor, just used it because it shows what I'm talking about.

You probably need to slide that green wire out, as you're pushing the grommet in. Don't pull too hard though or you'll yank it out of the plug.
