I'd have to say you have other problems besides cooling capacity if you're still a 346" car. People sometimes upgrade to the LT1 radiator (a bit thicker I think), and people also put on an electric water pump with lower thermostat (have you tried a new thermostat in your stocker?). People run 400+" motors making 550rwhp on the stock cooling system all the time.
These cars have a whiney cooling system that requires you to stand beside the radiator with a water hose while it's running and trickle water in for 30 damn minutes untill it won't hold any more. You'll swear up and down it has a leak because it feels like you've put in 30 gallons.
Do you road race or something like that?

If you havent cleaned your radiator fins out lately you might want to take a look. I pulled my AC condensor out and there was all kinds of goodies between them. Mostly dirt and tiny rocks.
