Default eXHAUST CUT-OUT

ok, so i have LM catback and am getting ready to put pacestter headers and tsp catted-y on. i figured that since ill have the catts, i would put a cut-out on the i-pipe for the track to make up the difference!! my question is, will it make a difference and is it the 3" cutout i want? Also, not looking for an electric one since i want to pass emmisions and i heard the ones with wing-nuts seal better and it will really only be used at the track, what is a good brand?
