Default My own FRA contraption

I was reading the Free Ram Air modification over at installuniversity.com, but instead of cutting out the whole plastic peice under the filter, I just drilled 3 two inch holes on each side, thus having less debris go through, but still getting some cold air in there. I still cut out the plastic baffle though. I took her out for a spin and did feel a MINOR difference in throttle response...but maybe its in my mind! Anyone else do it this way?

No but I did put a screen in mine. It's a fairly large pattern (about 1/4") so it's not much of a restriction.

I did this after having sucked a bunch of leaves up through my SLP R/A. It almost completely cut off the flow.
