Default changing the coolant

yes, i am very much a newbite to peformance or in fact engines ingeneral so... how do i change my coolant and does readline addtive work..also what is the best stuff to use in florida where it almost never freezes. ((02 ta a4 tranny usual boltons))

John,
First things first. If you are a newbie you will want to make the most out of www.fbody.com/tech/. It is a site that will walk you through almost any thing you need to know.

Second, I am from Panama city Fla originally myself. No it does not freeze,BUT you have to work about the heat..... That is as bad as far as I am concerned. When I live at home on my LT1 T.A.
I did the 160 thermostat and changed the fans with hpp3 programmer. as far as the coolant its self go with the red dextron coolant from the dealer.
