The SLP dual-dual is the best exhaust out there, I got one on my hawk, its great, I also have a cutout for when I want to get really loud...

But the dual-dual has no rasp what so ever, LT's, through ORP's, through the dual-dual = perfect sound...

I have the SLP PP dual/dual as well. Its not obnoxiosly loud like the Loudmouth. It also flows very well, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

P.S. Get a cutout as well, when you want it really loud your mom will never know.

I ordered the SLP Dual-Dual on both my '99 M6 SS and my '02 A4 SS. I feel it is the best, or close to the best flowing cat-back out there, without excessive drone, raspiness, or objectionable noise. Weld a cutout in under the passenger seat area in the intermediate pipe, and you can have your noise when you want it... WJ.

i think its a good system, but it just wasnt loud enough for me since i have to run cats.
Try and find some clips of what it sounds like before you buy it. Its not cheap

Hi,

Just bought my 2001 SS that came with the SLP Dual-Dual. I like it!
The original owner was a serious car crafter and he removed the muffler and welded in 3" pipe to make it a bit like the loud mouth. It is a very clean installation and looks very nice. It makes the exhaust loud enough for me with out being too raspy or "blat blat". The rest of the exhaust is untouched as it came from SLP/ GM factory.

If your looking for a system that isn't to loud, flows well and has tips on each side this is a very good way to go. SLP recently started using a different muffler so it sounds a little more agressive than it did in the past.

Thats why you get a cutout, for when you want it really loud...

I bought my 01 SS with the optional SLP dual/dual and it was O.K. It was a little too quiet for me and as far as the appearance goes I've seen much nicer tips and even though it's stainless, it was fairly rusty after just 7000 miles. Don't get me wrong though, I think the Loudmouth sounds awful. That's why I replaced the dual/dual with the GMMG chambered
