I thought that it might have a price change due to the quality of the metal.

one, to my knowledge is a thinner, more cheaply made header. hooker took their original design and thinned it out a bit to compete with pacesetter - but don't quote me word for word on that.

what i DO know for sure is that they are a waste of money since pacesetter headers are superior to even the $600+ header hooker makes. all you'll be buying by going with hooker are the same performance gains, thinner flanges, a tougher install job and poorly placed O2 bungs. pacesetters should be your only option for coated headers (other than edelbrock, they make a SWEET header), and kooks/qtp should be your only option for stainless. anything else is just you thinking too hard.

I've got a set on the way and I think that they will work out great.

+1

However, Hooker Comp 2468 and 2469 headers fit well.

That is what I like to hear. I see no reason or explanation for a Holley performance product to be of lesser quality or uncommon fit than any pace setter product.

Does the 2468 fit exactally as the 2253, I am putting a set in a malibu and the 2253 fit pretty close but the dont make it anymore. What is the difference in the fit of a pacesetters.
