Default o2 sims

i am ordering my new headers on friday. i was thinking that i could not get the o2 sims. because that is like another 90 bucks. and i can deal with the MIL but i was wondering if it would mess up my engine. i do plan to get a tuner later and elimintate them with that but want to avoid the initial price.

it will not mess up your engine, it will only throw an SES light up on your dash...the function of the rear o2 sensors is to report that the cats are working properly/improperly

Rear 02 codes won't affect performance. You'll just have to deal with the SES light like you stated, and without a scanner won't know if something else is going on. You could get them tuned out, along with AIR, EGR etc. for less than $90.

You'll need to run O2 sims or have the codes tuned out with HP tuners/LS1 edit.
