Default Anyone make a fender mount cold air intake?

I want to do something like the pic below. My IAT temps are through the roof w/ my FIPK so I need to somehow get cold air in. Instead of doing an Ultra Z hood or something, I figured I could do a fender mount type intake. There's room for a filter where the air pump was, and 3.5" tubing could probably be run down there if I put the MAF right on the TB. Anyone do anything like this?

Yeah I figured it was since the alternator was relocated, but I'm wondering if someone has done an intake like this since there is room.

A regular lid and SSRA/front grill scoop would probably bring your IAT's down. The setup you described sounds like it would work too.

intakehoses.com and hightempsilicone.com should have enough couplers and stuff to make it work w/out welding stuff.

Easy fix is to move the hell out of Texas!
