Purple hornies Installed anyone? Im trying to see if anyone has a xpipe with purple hornies installed? I like the bullets but i would like to be different

My friend had a set on his 72 mustang. Had a built 302 and an H pipe setup. Quite possibly the loudest ******* automobile in history. 
He ditched them for some Flowmaster 40's, the sound improved greatly and it was actually garage-crankable.

Don't rag him too hard guys, he just bought it.
Don't go that route man. Listen to some more of the different set-ups in our club & then decide on what you like. The guys on here are right though, it would sound like a farm truck, not a sports car.
