Question New Era Ported Throttle Body ?'s

I plan on getting my TB ported by new era and i was wondering how long my car would be down? How long is the usual turn around time? I also was wondering if they did the bump stop mod?

Thanks

I think that it should only take a shop a few hours to do one. Now as far as shipping who knows.

they did mine i think it was like 3-4days from my door to theirs and back. you could also buy another stocker to send to them and keep your car on the street. thats what i did.

I'm in FL, they told me it'd be about 5 days. Call them and ask. If it does'nt work, find a shop that exchanges cores...I ended up getting one from thunder racing.

save money, build experience, and have 3 hours downtime and try it yourself.....nothing to it and you feel more appreciative...

not to try and hijack, but thunderracing only ports and does not polish, correct? reason being i'm interested in one of their tb's due to the core charge. also, may i ask how was the workmanship?

Correct, ported only.

The TB looked good, I think they put some time into the blade, it was quite a bit narrower than the stock piece. Overall I was pleased with it.

I think they're all pretty much the same, can't really go wrong with any of them. I went with them because I've gotten parts from them before and it does'nt hurt that they're a sponsor.

thanks for your input. i ordered a thermostat from them a while back for my old car. good business and i like their online discount policy. i guess i could always polish it up myself. the porting's the hard part, after all.
