Default Pic of an LS6 intake anyone?

I am trying to hookup my vacuum line for the AC. Trouble is, I can't find where it goes on the back of the manifold.

Would anyone have a pic of the back of an LS6 manifold so I can get an idea where this line goes?

Thanks

Here's a LS6 intake the "aftermarket" or vette' version of it. Obvious difference is the fact that it has no EGR hookup where it connects to the TB. 01's and 02's had the LS6 intake from the factory, but had the EGR hookup on them.

No 01 or 02 have EGR.

Thank for the pics everyone!!

But how do I get that tiny vacuum hose onto that nipple on the back of the intake? Am I missing something?

It looks to be about a 1/8" vacuum hose and the nipple on the intake looks like about 1/4".

I bought an assortment of vacuum crossovers at AutoZone, but even the smallest one would not fit into the 1/8" vacuum line. I am totally stumped.

Any ideas welcome...

I thought 01's and 02's still had EGR, their LS6 intakes just had the hookup. SLP sells them this way also, with the EGR hookups.

SLP custom makes them with EGR for people who don't want to get rid of their EGR (For emission testing or whatever else.)

The stock LS6 intake that comes on the F-body and vette are exactly the same and without EGR.

I thought they changed the cam to intergrate the feature into the engine's natural performance so they didn't have to have more costly junk to do the same thing. I could be wrong though.

Well i know 99's had the largest cam...so that would mean the 2k cars cams were different...and they still had EGR...so...i'm not quite sure what your getting at honestly.

He's getting at the fact that the 01 and 02 F-body LS6 intakes don't have an EGR provision so how do they pass smog without any EGR hookup on the intake? I'm confused about that myself.

I'm in CA and I purchased an LS6 intake but it doesn't have an EGR provision, so I have no idea how to make that work in CA... how do 01 and 02 f-bodies run egr with that intake?

01-02 don't run EGRs, they weren't equipped on the 1st place.

I was just always under the assumption that is why SLP made the EGR fitted LS6 intakes because they came stock in the 01-02's, never knew certain years didn't ever even have it to begin with... Guess ya learn something new everyday. Oh well...

98's had the same cam as 99's.
